The helical heat exchanger design has fewer weld points, creating a stronger, more durable water heater with fewer potential leak paths. With a UEF of up to 0.95, the Adapt®+ is not only ENERGY STAR® certified but also offers high thermal efficiency and corrosion resistance. The Adapt®+ has a high thermal efficiency, built-in corrosion resistance, and an integrated recirculation pump to ensure your home has fast, reliable hot water at all times. This means the Adapt®+ will require less maintenance over time, which means less money out of your pocket in the long run.
To be more user-friendly, the Adapt®+ features a digital display for easily managing schedules, monitoring performance, and adjusting temperature. You can even activate your Adapt®+ tankless water heater remotely.

The A. O. Smith Adapt®+ tankless water heater will be available in an integrated X3® Scale Prevention Technology model and an M bypass model (X3® Scale Prevention filter attachment).
Built to Adapt
Designed for fast, flexible installation across a wide range of applications. The Adapt®+ can easily be retrofitted or built into new construction with 2” and 3” PVC venting and is compatible with ½” or ¾” gas lines. The Adapt®+ is field-convertible and can be installed indoors or outdoors, and it includes a wall-mount bracket for faster installation.
