URGENT MESSAGE FOR COMMERCIAL 2024/2025 BUSINESS OWNERS!

They are switching refrigerants again and you only have a limited time until ll the old inventory is sold out!

R22 was the old refrigerant which is likely in anything 20 years or older.
Even back then there were some AC units sold with 410 which has been the Air conditioning refrigerant ever since.
They finally stopped making R22 refrigerant for sale a year ago or so.
The newer 410 refrigerant and repair parts will be, or should be available for many years. Probably 15 years at least.
But all new equipment sold, after old inventory is gone, will be one of the two A2L refrigerants. R454 and R32.

I am sharing this information with my commercial rooftop customers who have Old rooftops. But, this is relevant to any one with an OLD Air conditioner as well. I am told to expect an increase with the new A2L equipment of 15-20%

For commercial properties, I am suggesting, that if possible to replace the really old stuff in one fell swoop saving Crane costs, labour costs, and the increase of the new equipment.

Another plaza owner we look after has 3 very old rooftops 20-30 years old.
In changing all three, he saves 2 crane trips, roughly $1000 per time, and the price increases and our labour. Easily estimated at $7,000-$8,000
